Today we want to dedicate our Throwback Thursday to DJ Mehdi, given that today is the 1 year anniversary since his tragic death. DJ Mehdi was one of the most highly revered DJ’s and producers and to this day is considered a legend. DJ Mehdi was one of the best artists on Ed Banger Records and has put out some seriously amazing records. Mehdi was also a successful hip hop producer before he became a dance producer with an impeccable taste as a DJ. I had the pleasure of seeing DJ Mehdi at Electric Zoo 2010, and looking back on it I am extremely happy that I can say that I had the opportunity to. I wanted to present my favorite tracks from DJ Mehdi as our Throwback Thursday for you to enjoy.
